The substack notification came through as I was pulling myself together after the latest round of sobs. I've been leaky all morning because today would have been my 19th wedding anniversary. When he proposed, he hid the ring in my lunch - from Arby's.
Our marriage didn't make it, but I'm fortunate because we still have love and respect for each other and make a great co-parenting team. On days like today, it just stings that we couldn't achieve that together.
