“money”  is a word that contains the strangest energy

~ it’s word that brings

so many contradictions

I am told to collect as much money as I can
- and I am also told to not let money define me

I'm told that money will take me on lavish vacations
- and I am told that it won't make me actually happy

 I'm told that money will let me live longer
- and I'm told that my intense pursuit of it will age me rapidly

I’m told that money is what makes the world go round
- and I’m told that money is what will someday cause it to end

I am told to look at money as if it were a natural resource
- and I'm told to look at money as the root of all evil

I am told that money will make me feel secure
- and I am told it will often make me feel anxious

for disciples with

bigger brains than I possess
